This small 10ft waterfall is located within Long Lake Provincial Park on the outskirts of Halifax. It is located along the Pipeline Loop Trail near end of the lake closest to St Margarets Bay Rd. There is a small pool located at its base that you could easily swim in. In front of the fall is a wooden bridge crossing that crosses over the brook below about 10 feet in the air.

Important Information – This waterfall is located within a Provincial Park and has multiple ways to access it. I shared the shortest route possible below. The waterfall is not the biggest but the park and trail it is on is beautiful. A great escape from the city. There is a bench located on the side of the falls to relax on. The trail length from the parking area to the falls is approx. 2kms. In total you should expect to walk approx. 4kms. The terrain is exposed roots, rocks, gravel, and dirt/mud as it is a manmade trail. The pool at the base of the waterfall is deep enough to swim but I wouldn’t go jumping into it. The water is dark and with large boulders present.

The shortest distance to this trail is parking in the designated parking area for the park along St Margarets Bay Rd. From here you will walk straight down the path until you reach the lake.
