An easy walk or bumpy drive will bring you to these falls just off the logging road. They stand approx 20 feet in height and fall largely around 70 degrees. When you reach the bridge crossing the river you can see the top of the falls to your right through the trees and depending on the volume flowing, you can hear them too.

Important Information – The falls are located just off a logging road in Morristown, NS. They do not offer a place to swim or jump. The trail down to the base of the falls is slippery and declining in sections upwards to 60 degrees, use caution. This short trail off the logging road is no longer than 50ms. It is a human trafficked trail so expect exposed roots, rocks,  and dirt/mud. Now, this short trail could be the only walking you have to do if you drove to its location just before the bridge crossing the river. The logging road is bumpy and muddy. If you choose to walk from the main logging road access it will be just under a 2km walk roundtrip to the falls. Now, if you decided to park at the beginning of the main logging road off Aylesford Road your walk to the side logging road is just shy of 4kms. Walking both logging roads to the falls will make your total trip will be approx 10kms. Note that even the main logging road is bumpy and muddy.

Directions – The falls are located just outside of Morristown, NS. If you are traveling from Halifax you will want to head towards the valley on Highway 101 (Harvest Highway). Following Highway 101 to Exit 15 (Berwick). Taking Exit 15 turning left at the end of the off-ramp and driving through the town of Berwick along route 360 until you reach a 4-way that has Avery’s Market. Turn right onto Highway 1 (Evangeline Trail) and follow until you reach a left-hand turn onto Aylesford Road. Following Aylesford Road passed Canaan Road on your right and Fox Mountain Camping Grounds on your left. Once you pass these two landmarks your next right is the logging road that you will need to walk or drive on for 3.8kms until you reach the side logging road that cuts across this main logging road. Turn left and walk or drive 800ms to the bridge crossing the river. The falls are 50ms to your right downstream.
