Located just outside of Baddeck in a Provincial Park. This short hike of 4kms round trip is very easy and well maintained to a beautiful spot. The falls in total stand approx 50ft in height. The base 70-degree fall is approx 10-15 ft high. The middle portion of these falls is a large 45-degree angle cascade fed by the upper and biggest fall in this large opening within the gorge. These cascades are approx 20-25 feet in length. The upper fall is approx 20-25 feet falling straight down at a 90-degree angle. It is a unique spot to be viewed from below and above.

Important Information – Uisge Ban Falls do not offer anywhere to swim or jump. They are located in a Provincial Park so facilities are present along side the general parking area. There is good signage throughout the parking lot and trail. The trail it self is mainly gravel with sections of human trafficked areas. Expect to walk on exposed roots, rocks, mud/dirt, and a soundly constructed bridge to cross the river. This walk is approx 2kms each way and is relatively flat. Near the falls if you wish to view into the gorge and the upper fall there is a steep climb on the right-hand side when facing the falls. It goes up into the gorge and on top of the main fall. It is approx 200ms long. As these falls are located in a Provincial Park you will encounter signage for this Park along the main roads leading up to the Park. The Park is located on North Branch Road.
