This is a single fall within Victoria Park in Truro, NS. This fall is located just a couple hundred meters upstream from Joseph Howe Falls. The falls are approx 15-20 feet high and fall at an angle of approx 80 degrees. Depending on the volume of water flowing, the pool at its base can be small to medium in size and does not get very deep.

Important Information – This fall does not allow you to jump but you can swim at your own discretion. It is located within a Provincial Park so if you choose to swim others might have certain opinions towards it. The park is laid out to include the fall along one of the main trails. The trails consist of gravel with wooden staircases and bridges built in along the way. It is well maintained and the trails have great signage along the way. The walk from the parking lot to the falls is approx 1km and is generally flat or on a small gradual incline. The trail you are using is at the opposite end of the parking lot from where you entered. As your walking, you will pass Jacobs Latter on your left and the Witches Cauldron on your right. Continuing straight you will arrive at Joseph Howe Falls, approx 200 meters upstream is the Waddell Falls. This park does have great signage so it is very hard to get lost.
Directions – These falls are located in Truro, Nova Scotia. If you are leaving from Halifax you will head towards Truro on Highway 102 (Veterans Memorial Highway). You will be exiting the Highway at exit 13 on your right. At the end of this off ramp go right onto McClures Mills Rd. Follow this road until it ends. In the end, you will turn left onto Willow St. Follow this St until you reach Arthur St which will be on your right-hand side. You will follow Arthur St until you reach Pleasant St which is going to be on your right-hand side. Once on Pleasant St follow until you reach Charles St. Turn left onto Charles St which turns onto Brunswick St and follow it until you reach Park Rd. Turn right onto Park Rd. This road leads you directly into the main parking area for Victoria Park. Park and walk away from where you just entered the park to get onto the trail which follows the river upstream.
