This is a single fall located just north of Ingonish, Nova Scotia within Cape Breton Highlands National Park. It is a unique fall as it falls just to the left of Black Brook Beach into the ocean. This fall is approx 15-20 feet high and falls at an angle of approx 90 degrees. Naturally carved out steps have been made at the top of the falls from the rushing water, makes for a great place to sit with the water splashing around you. There is a small pool at the bottom of the fall, depending on how much volume is flowing you might be able to splash around.

Important Information – This fall does not allow you to jump and the pool below is only deep enough to get completely wet if high volumes are flowing. These falls are located directly on Black Brook Beach just to the left of the parking area. Simply arrive, park, step onto the beach and head left. If you want to get on top of the falls do so at your own risk by using a small path on the right-hand side of the falls. This little path is a human trafficked vegetation path so it consists mostly of dirt and loose rocks. From the main parking area, you will walk approx 200ms. When at the base of the falls, you will see the path to the top on the right-hand side. This path will allow you to get on the top of the falls but it also extends to the right along the coastline. This extended path is part of 3 series interconnected trail system. When you exit the woods onto to granite coastline you’ll see a small inlet, on the other side of this inlet is a spot where people jump into the ocean. It is called Squeakers hole. Jump at your own risk.
