GPS : 44.951414, -64.892601

There are multiple falls within McMaster Mill Historic Park located in Greenwood, Nova Scotia. Small cascaded falls near the beginning of the park fall anywhere from 3-5 feet. Further down the river into the core of the park, the next few falls are bigger. Anywhere from 5-20 feet high. The falls fall at all different angles cutting through the rock face into small pools as you move down the river. These falls were fun to explore and play on the rocks. It is very easy to access the rocks along the river and above the multiple falls. The park has a steep wall face approx 120 feet high overlooking the larger fall. It has a great view.

Important Information – These falls are very accessible within the park. I wouldn’t advise swimming in any of the pools present at the base of the multiple falls. The park has well-maintained trails, most are crusher dust (gravel). It is a small park and a few little hills are present, nothing steep. The park access has a sign right off of the main road (Rocknotch Rd). It is very easy to see.

Directions – The park is located within Greenwood, Nova Scotia. It is off of Rocknotch Rd which is off of Harmony Rd. Yes, This park is only 1 minute from the entrance to the dirt road heading towards Crystal Falls. If leaving from Halifax you will head towards the valley on highway 101 (Harvest Highway).
